October Movie Night This Way Creeps

October 21st, 2009 · No Comments

Join us Saturday, October 24th to start celebrating Hallowe’en a bit early…

THE SIMPSON’S TREEHOUSE OF HORROR!!

Boo! It’s a party!

If you have been living on another planet for the past 20 years, you’ll have no idea that these are a series of infamously hilarious and over the top Hallowe’en episodes for the animated series, The Simpsons.

As Halloween specials go, there’s no Great Pumpkin and no fairy princesses…but they are all the funnier for it! Usually involving the Simpson family in some horror, science fiction, or supernatural setting, they go completely overboard in abandoning any pretense of being realistic. Uh, that is, being realistic if you are an animated cartoon character on TV. We all know how mundane that life can be…

Special short before the main event!

Join us for refreshments before the film – the usual eyeballs, fingerbones, and brains, along with a cash bar benefiting Variety Children’s Charity, and for you scaredy-cats, cookies and cupcakes.

Doors open at 6PM, Film starts at 7PM

The Variety Preview Theatre, The Hobart Bldg., 1st Floor, Entrance between Quiznos and Citibank, 582 Market St. @2nd & Montgomery, San Francisco
