Author/Illustrator Lisa Brown — Sometimes, How to Be, The Latke Who Wouldn’t Stop Screaming, Baby Fix Me a Drink plus Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket) — A Series of Unfortunate Events, etc., will be wearing costumes, singing, accordioning, dancing and doing a top secret PPT as part of The Kid Lit Salon

Members – $120 per year – one event per month, 4th Monday each month at Book Passage – Corte Madera Store, 51 Tamal Vista Blvd., Corte Madera.

Book Passage is thrilled to be launching the Kid Lit Salon for both established and beginning children’s book writers and illustrators. Come socialize with like-minded, creative types in your field. Our evenings will include a wildly diverse array of speakers, member updates, event, conference, retreat and grant info, evolving web essentials, cool insider tips.

AFTER HOURS – Anime, Graphic Novels, & Wii, oh my! With graphic novelist Gil Lawson, join us for a casual discussion about this fascinating profession. With a delicious spread of snacks, a movie, Wii gaming, and open Internet for all! At Menlo Park Public Library, 800 Alma Street, Menlo Park.
