All aboard, please. If you haven’t yet bought your tickets, they are available from the booking office web site. One of the principal attractions on your journey will be a rare west coast appearance for the very wonderful Ann and Jeff VanderMeer, editors of the fabulous Steampunk anthology (as published by Tachyon Publications). Be there, or be boringly modern.

Our Litquake event will take place at the usual Variety Preview Room venue, the theme will be Steampunk, and we have a stellar line-up:

  • Joe R Lansdale
  • Rudy Rucker
  • Richard Bottomes

And while you are there, don’t forget to look for a copy of Steampunk, the seriously wonderful anthology from Tachyon Publications edited by Ann and Jeff VanderMeer.

And that, of course, is Thursday October 9th. Doors open 7:00pm, readings begin at 8:00pm, and in the meantime there’s a cash bar, the proceeds for which go to the Variety Children’s Charity of Northern California who are letting us have their lovely room for free.
